Vassar early decision-class of 2014

FYI for all of you, on the Vassar 2014 facebook group one (high-school) class of 2010 person who joined/was accepted is from Duchess County, and the other is from South Dakota. Draw from that what you may.

LOL yeah, I was evaluating the regions too.

CONGRATULATIONS AMANDAAAAA!!!

congrats senioryr2010! crossing my fingers that every one of us it joining you!

SOUTH DAKOTA?! Okay, even though I obviously don’t live there, that means there’s hope we non-New Yorkers might get ours!

LUCKY EAST COASTERS! :P

Am I the only one who lives on the West Coast? Reppin’ Nevada, yo. Specifically, Vegas. And yes, I’ve known how to pole dance since I was three.*

*Just kidding.

Haha, lies. You totally pole dance! ;D

It comes naturally. ;]

Okay. Seriously. The freak-outs have FINALLY hit me. I was able to keep myself distracted with rehearsals and homework, but now I’m feverishly refreshing the 2014 group on Facebook and I ran to the mailbox in the freezing cold just in my pajamas when it’s only 9.35am here.

matt, i’m west coast, too (los angeles)! i’m crossing my fingers till 12:00 when my mail comes. hopefully this will be the best hanukkah present ever.

Happy Hanukkah! And yes! West Coast in the house! …Forum? West Coast on the forum!

HadleyPillar, I’m probably the one from Dutchess County that joined the group. I actually live in Poughkeepsie, about 15 minutes away from campus.

The postmarked date was yesterday, December 11th, so the rest of you guys should expect your letters on Monday!! I’m surprised I was the only one to find out today, I figured most of the other East Coast people who get theirs as well.

Thanks guys, and good luck to the rest of you! I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces next year at Vassar! :)

LOS ANGELES! That’s where I’m from originally. Yaaaay! WestCoast4LiFee~~ Haha.

My mail service is slow as molasses but I do live in the Northeast/Eastcoast area, so maybe when it finally gets here around 3 I’ll know too…especially if it was mailed yesterday. Oh my god. And congratulations again on getting in, that’s amazing!

Has anyone on the east coast already gotten their mail today and NOT received their letter? I’m still hanging onto the hope that it’ll arrive today. I don’t know how I’m gonna stand another two days.

I don’t think all EastCoasters will have the same luck as Amanda. I’m from MA, and ran out to get my mail as soon as I heard Amanda’s news. No such luck for me; I’m stuck waiting until Monday.

Then again, it takes two or three days for mail from my house to get to my cousins just halfway across the state. Maybe just MA mail is slow, and others will get theirs sooner.

Yup, just checked the mail. Nothing has arrived yet. At least that leaves me two days to still be hopeful! :D

Damn, well I guess highhopes4vassar and I will have to wait too. Screw you, geography.

It’s not helpful when this what I see when I look out my bedroom window: http://large.pictures.boss.dailybooth.com/27b73d0cf76c52202dcd204a4b854da7_2101023.jpg

Not cool.

Woah, that’s siiiiiick. You have a circular window!

it’s raining cats and dogs in L.A. so the letter probably won’t be here today. this is SO suspenseful, and it’s killing me.

matt, you and i will probably have to endure this deadly anxiety for another two days…

I’m from northern New Jersey, about two hours away from Poughkeepsie. Just checked the mail and no letter :(

I HONESTLY CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER DAY. My heart races every five minutes and my stomach is in knots. I don’t even think retail therapy can help me at this point.

CONGRATS to Duchess County girl! You go!

@Montana - I had to fight tooth and nail to get this bedroom when we moved in, ahaha! The selling points were the window and the closet. I guess that says a lot about me, lol.

@HH4V - SERIOUSLY. My mom is all, “Let’s decorate the tree together this year! You, me, and dad!” and “We can bake cookies tomorrow!” I see through your ruses, mother. I had to tell them I was going to stay home and wait for the mail while they went out tree shopping.
