<p>I am excited about my transfer decision as well. Unfortunately, as transfers we will have to wait until early May to find out. However, Freshman applicants (high school seniors) hear in late March, early April. What school to you go to currently?</p>

<p>I received a letter from Vassar yesterday. Turned out to be a reminder to send in my Mid-term grade report. Just about gave me a heart attack though. I was thinking “one sheet of paper? This can’t be good…”</p>

<p>Another college accepted me, but I have to notify them of my decision by May 11th…do you guys know if there’s a way to ask Vassar for my decision early? Or ask the other college if I can wait to say yes or no? Will Vassar decisions be out by the 11th anyhow?</p>
<p>First thing you want to do is ask for an extension from the school to make your decision. If that does not pan out, or the extension is not long enough, talk to Vassar admissions and explain the situation to them.</p>

<p>I think it is Mid-May like the majority of other schools. Does anyone know if Vassar sends decisions via email/online or only by snail mail?</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure that we should hear back on the 10th and by email. I can’t remember where I read that so I’ll try and find a source for that info…</p>
