sorry if this has been asked, but it's a really important issue for me...
i know oberlin probably has a large vegan population (or larger than most schools).. so how are the food options?

There are vegetarian and vegan sections in the dining halls, and all co-ops have vegan options. Fairchild Co-op is almost entirely vegan, and most co-ops serve vegetarian food a lot, and a lot of that is vegan.

Also, dining halls have sweet salad bars. The best options would be co-ops, but if you do get on a meal plan instead, there will be food for you. Tofu at every meal (or seitan, or other soy-products). Yeah protein!

Also, two of my professors are vegan, though you wouldn't guess it. One sponsors the school Rifle Club and College Republicans; the other is a ... maverick.

The salad bars are awesome! I didn't know we had a Rifle Club, noir.stork.

Oberlin Student Rifle Association, unaffiliated with the NRA. They're pretty awesome folks. Less active this year...
