O I see how it is. You think you are too good of a dancer for me. Well you grab ur crew and I'll grab my crew. Meet me in the mall, its goin down.

It's significantly easier to get into Cornell as a transfer student than as a regular admissions student

Yes and no. ILR and CALS are considerably easier for transfers; CAS is MUCH harder for transfers. ;)

hahaha yea in the parking lot of the mall...it could be like that dumb movie that i never saw, the one with the puerto rican gangs..what was it? ohhh yea west side story or w/e

That's more of a shank fest. But I'm down either way. Let's make it a night fight if it's a shank fest though. More fun that way. I'll wear all black. It'll be great. My news crew will beat your news crew. We are the #1 News Crew in all of San Diego. You are only #2.

I'll take your mother out for a nice lobster dinner and NEVER CALL HER BACK.

All right, wise guys. Now you listen to me. All of ya! You hoodlums don't own these streets. And I've had all the roughhouse I'm gonna put up with around here! You wanna kill each other, kill each other! But you ain't gonna do it on my beat. Are there any questions?

.....hahahaha.....lol

hahahahaha

which of the following is the best dorm to live in (OVERALL)?
how would you rank them?
Akwe:kon, Risley, Ecology House, Holland International, Multicultural Living Learning, Ujama, Alice Cook, Carl Becker, Language House, or Hans Bethe?

the language house is part of cook house...i would say cook house

why
what makes you choose that
whats good about cook house?

Hans Bethe (because its new...during housing selection it was impossible to get anything there unless u had a time the first day)

Alice Cook, Carl Becker (relatively new, and very social)

Language House (in Cook and one of the gothic towers (?) im not sure about this, but its still on west which is good for transfers)

Ecology House or Akwekon (Both are more interest oriented, if you like nature and animal ecology house is good) However its both really far from campus (central)

Risley --- Nice house but lots of hippies...Again very interest oriented.

Multicultural living learning On north, not very social
ujama and Holland--- in the low rises...not fun at all

Its just my ranking....I hope this helped

i hear that in language house you need to speak that specific language on that specific floor... like only speak spanish on that floor if its a spanish floor... is that true?
i hear ecology is all nerds and akwekon is all african americans...

out of all the program dorms, which is the best? language?

are bethe, cook, and becker suites or corridor?

what do you think about off campus housing (collegetown) for transfers?

Language houses - Yes, you HAVE to speak that language ONLY.
Ecology House - Yes.
Akwe:kon - I don't even know who lives there. But you're thinking about Ujamaa.
Out of all of the program houses, they all have their drawbacks. It's really pointless, and you don't want to deal with the nonsense in your first year here.

Bethe/Cook/Becker are corridors with a few suites built in.

From what I hear, off campus housing for transfers is discouraged because since you're new to the school, it'll be easier to meet people if you lived on campus. Sounds legitimate.

So would it be harder to meet other ppl if you were a transfer student dorming in bethe/cook/becker houses?
