VERY CONFUSED about teacher recs, and i am going to be a senior soon!

I am going to be a senior in two weeks and I am really nervous about the teacher rec process cuz I have clueless about the whole process. What are secondary school reports? What are common applications? How will interviews work after i apply to private colleges? I am so confused about so many things. PLEASE HELP MEEE!!

First, calm down. Then:

Read the sticky threads at the top of this forum, there are ones about the Common App, teacher recs and interviewing.

The secondary report is your HS transcript and information about your HS (size, grading system, etc.)

Finally, talk to your HS guidance counselor or read a book about college admissions, I recommend "Admissions Matters".

Admission Matters is an excellent book. I also recommend another book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to College Planning" by Dr. O'Neal Turner. It's an excellent introduction to how college applications work. They're both excellent comprehensive and general references. It certainly helps to read these books before you go on College Confidential. As entomom said, there are threads at the top of the forum that will tell you pretty much everything you need to know. But I still recommend the books mentioned above, both for their clarity and their organization.

College applications aren't that hard. Trust me; I've done them. It takes a bit of organization though. Even if you don't know how the application works, you can always ask your guidance counselor, or you could ask people who have already applied to college for help, or you could consult the books and CollegeConfidential. There are plenty of resources to help you.
