<p>Your major does not matter for med school admission (you just need to take the required premed courses), unless it's something vocational like kinesiology or nursing. Search through the premed forum for more info.</p>
<p>True. A friend of mine is actually not majoring in a science to try to "stand out" to med schools. I'm not a premed, so I'm not sure how common this is (or if it actually works), but as long as you have the required courses and a high science gpa and mcat scores, they shouldn't care.</p>
