As an american, I was wonderign is it possible not to apply for Financial Aid for the freshman year of Uni, but to do so for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of uni? ie. If u dont apply FA for 1st year, can u still apply for 2nd 3rd and 4th years. THX</p>

<p>You will need to contact the schools directly and ask this question as the answer varies. Some school specifically state that students who do NOT apply for financial aid for the freshman year (note...apply..not receive) will not be able to do so in subsequent years. In the case of both of my kids...the schools they attended had this policy. I know it applies to institutional aid...I'm not sure if they really can enforce this for federal aid.</p>
