<p>So I took the ACT + writing. My essay was not so good i received an 8. For the schools that I am applying to that says the writing part is optional should i not submit the writing part, or is that even possible to only submit it to some, does it let you choose, etc? Sorry can someone please clarify me on how i go about this and what to do?!</p>

<p>Ya, you can't choose not to send it. An 8 really isn't bad at all... It's nothing to be embarrassed about.</p>

<p>Yea 8 is not bad. Its on the lower end of being good, but it shouldnt hurt you.</p>
