very tough decision

alright so my top two schools are University of Richmond and Emory University. Emory is definitely on a higher tier and a very slight reach for me. I'm on par with Richmond's standards.i have a 3.8 gpa, 30 ACT, and my big accomplishments are that i'm going to to be a new york state boys state delegate and a senior mentor at my school, which is pretty big.anyway, when I go to college, I'm pretty set on going to a undergraduate business school.according to businessweek, emory is ranked #9 for undergrad business and richmond is #11 or 12.minus the business school, i definitely liked emory better, but i still liked richmond a lot.the problem is with the business school.at richmond, after my first year I would only need a 2.7 to get into the business school there.at emory however, i would need a 3.5 gpa after my first year and half to get into the business school.according to the emory website, 90% of those who apply to the business school get in...the problem is that i dont know what i'd do if i got rejected from emory's business school.there's always doing economics and going to grad school but i dont really think I want to do that...generally,im good with time management and work pretty hard but at emory i feel like i might be very pressured to keep my gpa at a 3.5.overall, i would be much less stressed at richmond.however, i did like emory more.
my two options for applying are (keep in mind both schools have ED1 and ED2):

1)apply to emory ed1.i liked it more anyway,so if i get in, i'm going to the school i like more.as it is,its still a tad of a reach for me.if i dont get in,i apply ed2 to richmond and have a good shot of getting in.still going to a school i love.if i dont get in there, then apply regular to lehigh, my #3.
2)just apply ed1 to richmond and take the safer road in terms of business.

i'm not really sure what i should do.i think i may go back and visit both in the fall b/c i saw emory in october and richmond in february.but some help would be well appreciated because im not sure what i should do.

thanks

Safer path. Hmm, GM and Chrysler are full of managers who elected to take the safer path. Successful businesses are built by risk-takers. JMHO.
