VERY worried about UCSD...please help!

Hi. I'm really worried and losing sleep over this, so help is greatly appreciated.

So I've been accepted to transfer for UCSD. I REALLY want to SIR, BUT I am really worried since to do this, I have to give up a spot I am holding at another college.

I hear so many stories of people's admissions offers being revoked. I have been trying to get into a U.S. college for 3 years now, so what if I SIR, then get my admission revoked? When does this kind of thing happen and do mistakes happen often?

I mailed the admissions office confirming whether I have the requirements. They stated clearly that they would not have accepted me if I didn't have the minimum requirements. But I don't know if that was an officer replying or just admissions staff. I was especially worried because I'm not sure if they understood my credit system --- it's a trimester system, but because our periods are longer we get a semester's worth of work done in a trimester term.

Does this mean that all I have to do now is: finish my spring term with good grades, and get my transcripts in on time?

If I call, do I get to talk directly with an officer? When I tried calling all I got was a "press #2 if you want to....." etcetc reply.

Thank you!

Call (858) 534-4831 and press 0. Ask for the supervisor if necessary. Good luck!

Thank so much!
