Hi,

Is it beneficial to go to Veterinary Technician school and recieve my certification, and then go on to take the classes necessary to become a veterinarian or should I just go to a four year college instead?

Bottom line you need 4 year degree to apply to Vet school which is more difficult to get into then med school. Of course in addition to high GPA you’ll need clinical experience in field to have a competitive Vet school app so being a Vet tech can’t hurt but your focus needs to be on your undergrad prep. Do your research it’s a tough go.
