Video games?

Does anyone here still play them? It seems like most people here have more intellectual/productive hobbies like studying/reading/poetry/etc.

I still play video games on occasion. I used to be a hardcore Pokemon addict in middle school, and played hours a day, but eventually broke the habit. Now I mostly toy with RPGs.
The Mass Effect 3 ending really turned me off video games for quite a while.

This week, we have mid-winter break (sort of like spring break, 1 week vacation), so instead of spending time studying for the SAT or AP tests like I probably should, I ended up spending today trying out Assassin's Creed 3. It's starting again.

I do.Just completed Call of Duty Black Ops 2 a few days back

Still do, at the moment I am modding a few games and creating an RPG from scratch via RPG Maker VX.

PS4 PS4 PS4. Yea I’m buying ps4 at launch and maybe with infamous 3.

I play computer games and I somewhat quit league of legends. I mean, i do finish my homework and classwork very well but the computer game ruined my study hours. More like, i always just finish doing hw and then i play and i dont study. Which leads to failing tests. I uninstalled the game to balance oht just so when I get my grades up. I know people who has like 98 UW average and plays an average of like 3 games per day which is 1 hour per game.

I play too much but I still got straight As this last semester. Dunno how, I wouldn’t recommend playing on weekdays.

Sadly not anymore.

My loves were (are) Pokemon, Zelda, Pikmin, Prince of Persia, and God of War.

I play them on occasion. After a decade of playing Pokemon, it’s getting a little boring. I still love a good platformer or JRPG any day. I generally don’t like Western non-indie games.

I play a great deal, although how much I play has fluctuated over the years. Barely played Junior year, although I played lots up to sophomore year, and have started up again this year =) But I suppose having been accepted to college has eased my mind about it now.

As a senior I’m barely playing games. Usually it’s till break when I play a lot. Lack of interest and Netflix are also to blame.

I bought Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Assassin’s Creed 3, Halo 4, and Black Ops 2 all on their release dates. Then I got Netflix and haven’t played any of them except black ops and borderlands.

Netflix killed my video gaming habits.

Once this darn Junior year is over and college apps are in, I plan on resuming.

Yuuppp, just not as often. Recently been playing a lot of BO2 and 2k13, but just got metal gear solid… Need to play that -.-

I think Netflix work against games, I think it’s more addicting then video games lol

I haven’t played video games in forever. In fact I never really played them, but recently I haven’t had any time for them at all…

I play computer games. I started with WoW, but now I’m obsessed with LoL.

I never have been into video games, and probably never will be. They’re just not my thing. I don’t get everyone’s video game obsession tbh. It seems like I’m the only person who doesn’t play them/have a desire to play them.

^Games are like books, movies/tv, and music. There are different genre and type for everyone. Maybe you haven’t found a genre that interest you? And no you’re not alone. Several of my friends have no interest in gaming.

Starcraft 2 was my life in grades 8,9, and partly 10. Played Mw2 a bunch during that time as well. I used to do all my hw immediately after coming home to hop on the computer/xbox and play for 2 hours a night. Good times. I don’t really play Mon-Thur anymore but I’ve really been liking Dwarf Fortress lately. Probably the most complicated game I’ve ever played, and it’s free with a nice community.

Role playing games? They’re not even plebeian, they’re of the capite censi. Get better hobbies, lads. I guarantee that there is something better for you in the great beyond.
