<p>Just a random thread I felt like throwing out there. This probably isn't the best place to talk about games, not the common academic threads, but I know that some of you, at least, must play some games. Hopefully.</p>

<p>Yeah, I know, definitely not the most productive thing, but I just play a lot of games (3~6 weekdays, 4~8 weekends). Trying to cut it down... when summer came. =(</p>

<p>Basically: what do you guys play for fun to pass time and with your friends, etc etc?</p>

<p>Oh yeah, I was targeting chiefly video games here, but I guess stuff like chess/monopoly, boardgames, etc also may count as games.</p>

<p>For me (can't list everything, but some here I used to play, some I still do occasionally) :
For Pc: Sc, SCII (jk/I wish), WC III(RoC/FT), Cs Source/1.6, SF(another FPS like Cs but not that good), Gunbound (long ago), Age of Empires, GW, Maplestory (long long ago..LoL!), Battlefield 2, Ragnarok, NWN, Command and Conquer 3, Sims(rarely) Age of Conan (quit), etc etc, I really can't list them all here. Not that I own all these.</p>

<p>Then there's the Super smash Bros, Halo, GTA, Zelda, Pokemon, all good ones we all used to play..Personally, I own a Gamecube/Ps2 (I'm out of date, but meh, my mom doesn't buy me games so..).</p>

<p>A lot of other stuff; usually after finals me and my friends would gather at someone's house with a bunch of game systems and party the whole night.</p>

<p>Lastly: I've had my share of WoW (World of Warcraft), honestly, don't play it: it's crack in a CD. If you know how to play it well, you'll be on 8 hours straight nonstop. I barely, barely managed to quit.</p>

<p>There. It's very random and rambling, but it's late and I can't concentrate on trying to study for that last bio final...</p>

<p>Super Smash Bros. Melee used to be my favorite; I used to travel around playing tournaments during the summer.</p>

<p>Now I usually play Brawl or Mario Kart Wii and other new Wii games that come out.</p>

<p>I've started playing Guitar Hero recently and it's pretty much addicting.</p>

<p>Invoyable- which Age of Empires game do you play? III? Cus I used to play it. It was tight..except I lost my CD lol.</p>

<p>After the end of school and before the start of my CC classes, I've been playing some sort of Super Smash Bros every day of the week (eep!!!). Mostly Brawl. IMO, I'm taking WAY too long getting used to Brawl... not that I was ever a pro at Melee...</p>

<p>I feel the same exact way; the slowdown has completely taken me by surprise and I can't pull off any of the cool tricks I used to do.</p>

<p>I play Call of Duty 2 and an RTS game. I'm kinda hooked on gaming atm..it's hard to get off.</p>

<p>I pretty much just play TF2 now; I'm pretty stoked about the Pyro patch that's coming out tomorrow.</p>

<p>Bought Ace Combat Zero and Odin Sphere the other day. Wound up beating ACZ in an afternoon, then replayed it on all the harder difficulties the next few days. I'm a little more than halfway through the fairy's campaign in Odin Sphere, but the game's starting to get more tedious than Children of Mana.</p>

<p>thats pretty cool. i once won 50$ for winning a madden tournament at a local gamestop.... i stopped playing video games a while back, i don't really know why, but i will try to get back to it now that summer is here.</p>

<p>I loved Maple Story - I haven't played in awhile, though. Either my dorm-internet speed or my laptop (haven't figured out which was lacking) wasn't able to handle the game. My desktop could, though. I just haven't started playing again.</p>

<p>I tried Nexon's new game Mabinogi(sp) and hated it.</p>

Yeah, i've played all versions personally, but I currently own III, which I don't play that much. I've also tried Age of Mythology, which is decent IMO.</p>

<p>Everyone seems to play brawl, not a surprise, I just go to my friend(s)' houses to play and it's incredibly fun with like a 12-person brawl tourny (albeit incredibly nerdy). Just because I don't own a Wii...</p>

<p>Eh, about maplestory, I quit at level 45ish, felt like it takes way too long to level. Took a full month-ish to get there. </p>

<p>Out of curiosity, does anyone play WoW? Seriously it's like the most addicting game, I frequently visited my friends' house just to play and ended up downloading the free trial version just to play, and I could be playing like 7 hours straight to feel like only, literally I played no more than 20 minutes (I would say 2 seconds, but that's too unrealistic. Really it felt like 20 minutes).</p>

<p>i like melee better than brawl. i have both and was an expert in melee, but the transition to brawl is way too annyoing. its slowed down, not to mention you can't pull off any of the advanced techniques (wavedashing, etc) becahse they changed the mechanics. </p>

<p>also, gh3 ftw. ive 5starred all but like 5 songs on expert (not counting bonus). i can get 83% on ttfaf woohoo. dragonforce = most fun song to play ever. </p>

<p>i also used to play ragnarok hardcore, but generally private servers (quality RO, aka qRO if anyone's heard of that). i actually became a GM there and was promoted to admin so i admin'd like 3000 people online at at time hehe.</p>

<p>i also play halo on pc, aom, ut2k4, and portal. i beat the single player for all of them already, but multiplayer for halo and ut2k4 online is fun. i just download america's army, so i'm gonna try that out. </p>

<p>i need a new pc game to start playing. (stupid computer limits what i can play - curse u 2.4ghz p4 and nvidia geforce fx 5200, otherwise i could run assassin's creed!)</p>
