Is the only way to see what you've been awarded the packet that's been/being/going to be sent by snail-mail? I'm excited to see if attending MIT will be as feasible as the calculator estimation made it look.

yeah, it is sent through snail mail. and the fin aid for me was great! really GREAT!! as in
w0w, I’m only contributing this much for an MIT education…???

tuangpi, are you EA?

Any international RD applicant received snail mail? I have not receive any mail.

@tuangpi : did they offer you more finaid than your need?

I haven’t gotten the financial aid packet either, or the admitted students packet (I was admitted.)…

I’m hyped to see them though!! :D

I got mine on Monday. It pretty much matched the FA calculator.

@selter yeah. EA but i saw on face some RA’s getting their Fin Package

@babo90 it was the same with what i expected from the FA calculator but man, MIT (along with other great schools) sure do have a good fin aid policy.

Wait what are the “Pell Disbursement Record from COD
Credit Balance Authorization Form
MIT Student Information Review Form” forms supposed to be? Are we supposed to send those out before we get our financial aid offer? I haven’t gotten anything in the mail from MIT yet…

Does anyone have a thing that says “required for disbursement and fund” in their status?

@tomjonesistheman- I have not submited the Credit Balance authorization form, and the COD form is from the gov’t- MIT gets that when the gov’t is good and ready! My point is, I received a letter from FinAid saying that my application was complete (sans those forms you were questioning about), that they are working on my aid package now.
