Villanova - Class of 2023 - Early DECISION results

@selena222

Were you accepted, deferred, or denied?

Does anyone know when the Honors notification comes out?

Randomacc24263, last year the honors letters came one or two weeks after acceptance email. Some kids had the acceptance on the right side of portal of acceptance email and others received letters soon after. My child was notified in July that she was accepted into honors program. Good luck !

Nephew was accepted into the business school. Recruited to play tennis. Sorry don’t know his SATs, but he got excellent grades, took plenty of APs.

Tips on preparing and studying for the ACT? As I am a junior, I am registered to take it in a month or so. Thanks!

@cab08101 Random place to put this but…

Practice tests, practice tests, practice tests!

The ACT/SAT are more likely than not very different than any test you’re used to taking. The common thread in most if not all expensive test prep courses are taking as many practice tests as you can. No need to go overboard, however, one every Saturday or Sunday really goes a long way 2-3 months before the test date. Even if it’s just one subject at a time. For example, I knew I didn’t need to review reading comp so I didn’t study it. Instead, I just took the Math and Science sections.

Also, a lot of people forget to time themselves when taking ACT practice tests. Timing is such a big component of the ACT you really want to get used to answering that many multiple choice questions in the allotted time.
