Villanova vs. Bucknell

Villanova vs. BC

Villanova vs. Maryland

Villanova vs. Holy Cross

Villanova vs. Colgate

Villanova vs. Lafayette

Villanova vs. BU

Villanova vs. Wake Forest

Which would you choose in each scenario? (for business, overall education and experience, job prospects in Northeast).

Are you in at all of these schools? Dont count chickens before they come home to roost. Worry about which schools after April 1 when you know where you have been accepted.

Each school has its own merits and benefits. They are all unique and special in their own way. Job prospects are very good for all of them.

I have a preference for smaller schools, and you being a New Yorker, I would recommend going to school out of your region for a change of pace. Wake is an outstanding business school and nationally recognized.

this is for a friend, a junior, long story…

I would only pick BC, Colgate and Wake over villanova personally.

This is exactly the situation I am in (looking for the same things with the same schools) and my view is…
Villanova vs. Bucknell- Depends, Greek life is a driving force at Bucknell rather than the lack of it at Nova, Bucknell also has a more closely knit alumni network in the Northeast for business, though Nova has a larger, more spread out one. A couple of my friends got in to both, but went to Bucknell.

Villanova vs. BC-BC definitely

Villanova vs. Maryland - Nova…Nova’s business school is one of the best in the NE and Maryland lacks some recognition as being a strong school. At least with the people I know and have talked to on this matter.

Villanova vs. Holy Cross- Holy Cross has stronger academics and recognition and seems to be the overall stronger choice.

Villanova vs. Colgate- Probably Colgate, but the two present very different opportunities and lifestyles

Villanova vs. Lafayette - Lafayette seems to be a safety for many Nova hopefuls, though I am not at all putting down Lafayette, I know a few multi-millionares that have gone to Lafayette.

Villanova vs. BU- Villanova seems to have a better rep and “college feel”

Villanova vs. Wake Forest- Wake Forest by a hair, though this seems to be a toss-up depending on feel
I have developed these choices having spoken to deans of these colleges, admissions officers and alumni. Just my opinion but hope this helps

If it was Pre Dental or Engineering, or Bio Medical, which would you choose?
