Sheâs waiting to see what the financial info looks like on 4/20, and if itâs less than IU-B sheâll think about it more. Their CS program is higher ranked than IU-B so itâs worth thinking it all through, but VT has a 2-pronged admission so thereâs a chance that she wouldnât make it into CS if she doesnât keep up her GPA. VT has them do general engineering for the first year, then apply to their specific major. If her GPA isnât where it needs to be, she might not get into CS. Whereas at IU-B she gets started in CS right away.
How long do you have to respond to the waitlist offer?
