<p>I just received a notice that I was deferred early decision from the College of Engineering. If anyone else was deferred or accepted can you please post your GPA's, extracurriculars, SAT etc. My GPA is a 3.85 (weighted), 660 on Math and 740 on Reading (1990 overall) (attend high school in Richmond/Chesterfield/Henrico area of VA).</p>

<p>Deferred from Engineering, 3.6 wGpa, 33 composite Act, 1390/1600 sat (800m 590 cr). From Fairfax county VA</p>
<p>My daughter got in. WGPA 4.4, SAT 770/760, from NoVa (public high)</p>
<p>My friend got in with a 3.9 (unweighted) gpa, 1410/1600 ( 710 reading and 690 math) and 600+ service hours plus 4 years of a varsity sport</p>
<p>Similar story. My daughter applied to VT Engineering and was deferred. She had a 3.6 GPA and a 1350 CR/M SAT. Sounds like these credentials often lead to deferral. :(</p>
<p>i got acceptaed into engineering: 730 math, 640 CR, 2020 total for 1 sitting. 4.46 Weighted gpa, 3.96 uw gpa, varsity track athlete(not recruited)</p>
