Hi im applying to the VT for fall 2016 and I just got deferred from early decision :(!! VT is my number one school and i applied for the engineering program. Could someone plz give me some tips on how to increase my chances of getting in during regular decision. I have a 4.1 and 1170 SAT (I know both are low) but my extra curricular and volunteers include running a charity and tons of other volunteering. Currently I am in AP Physics, AP Calc AB/BC, and AP CompSci and my grades are good!! Please let me know what I can do because I really don’t see myself going anywhere else tbh! Any advice would be helpful
