Virginia Tech or Ohio State or Indiana U

Hey guys, I am a rising senior and am still narrowing down my list of colleges that I will be applying to. I am in state for Maryland, and plan to study business. I know IU has a superior business school, but I visited VT and loved the atmosphere on campus, and my dad went to OSU and I visited as well and liked it. Can anyone give me some advice as to which one I should apply to? I only want to pick one of these 3 because I have many other schools that I’m considering. Thanks!

Where else are you applying? What are your stats?

I can weigh in on OSU’s undergraduate business school. I have had two summer interns in the past five years or so. What stuck out about those two was they actually knew how to do things right away. Often our interns kind of knock around the office all summer and we can never figure out what to do with them, but both of those kids were able to jump right into projects and contribute right away. I have kept in touch with both since then. Both doing very well professionally. Could have been a fluke and we just got lucky with those two. But I honestly can’t remember having interns, and both were rising juniors, who were as useful. I would have kept them if they weren’t more interested in other areas.

As a Virginia Tech engineering grad, who absolutely loved it there, I still must recommend Indiana amongst these 3 choices for undergrad business. IU Kelley has been a Top 10 undergrad business school forever in pretty much every survey and always receives high rankings amongst employers. Kelley is just in a different league vs the other two. I lived in Bloomington for too short of a time and it is my favorite place I’ve lived in America. Indiana’s vibe, school spirit, campus, town, combination is right up there with Virginia Tech for students too.
