I just finished my Associates in Science last semester from tidewater community college with a 2.97. Currently this semester while waiting to here back from tech I'm taking classes that should bring that up to a 3.2-3.3. Will this be enough to get into Virginia tech's engineering program or is it too little too late?

This semester’s grades are really going to impact the decision if you’re waitlisted or accepted, so I would say it might be a little too late. Even with a 3.3, Tech’s Engineering school is very competitive. But having your A.S. might help, so good luck!

You should be fine. Tidewater is in Virginia right? You should be under their guarantee admissions agreement.
