Virtual School

I just sort of always post in this forum... I'm not good at determining where threads go... So here's my question.

Do colleges care whether or not you take virtual school for classes?

Also, has anyone had any kind of experience with Aventa Learning or Florida Virtual School? Those are the two online schools that my state is associated with. Right now I'm leaning towards Aventa Learning because of its rolling start due to the fact that I would like to take these courses during the summer.

Thank you in advance! All responses are appreciated!

From your other thread you said that you’re taking online AP courses/honors courses, are you taking them at Aventa Learning and Florida Virtual School?

I said that I’m planning to take them at one of those virtual schools. I made this thread to find out which one I should take those AP courses from.

I’m currently taking an Aventa Chinese class (outside of my full normal schedule), and took a civics class there before, and I have had no problems. Some things do vary teacher to teacher though (such as exam’s being password-locked). Some parts of the online class are a teensy-but outdated only in respect to aesthetics, but nothing too major. They’re a very large company with a lot of AP Classes, and seem to have good teachers. I can’t speak to Florida VS, but I’m sure you’d be fine taking AP at Aventa; I plan on it for next year.
