Does earning straight A's Junior year, with a 2300+ SAT score almost guarantee to you a "chance" at an Ivy League?

Speaking generally..

It'll get your foot in the door, so to speak. At any rate. if you're rejected, it won't be because of grades/test scores.

^^ well-said. It won't guarantee admission, though, of course.

Guarantees a CHANCE. Nothing more.

If they're straight As in hard classes, sure.
If you're taking (no offense to these classes) culinary, open periods, art, etc. they'll probably think you're just slacking off.

that's what i have, so let's hope that it does lol

you said you got 4 c's. has someone caught the lying bug?

^ He was referring to his sophomore year.

As everyone has said, it merely makes you "qualified" in the academic pool, but it's no guarantee.

(Btw you made like 3 or so threads which had similar info like this one, Lol. Just don't worry about your sophomore grades or SAT scores or w/e and try harder your junior year..)
