Just recovering from yesterdays trip. I was able to get a better comfort feeling as to some of the questions I had. We looked at the freshman dorms again (East Residence and Hopkins) got to see some of the students just hanging out and having fun (East Resid.) I believe the college had a trip so many of the students were away. Spoke with some professors one on one and really felt the dedication to having the students succeed there.

Spoke to a few students and "grilled" them on giving the real dirt of things and really feel it is a great place to send my child and I am settling in with our decision nicely.

The speakers at scholarship dinner were also amazing, reinforcing what a great educational institution it is.

My main concern is the healty meals. Really checked out the student center but forgot to go to Primo's (It was a long day) Meal prices fell between $5-$8 depending on selections - this seems reasonable.

Found out you can rent a micro fridge - splitting the cost with a roommate would be better than lugging on down.

where are you coming from?

did your daughter join facebook for loyola?

Dunny - Central NJ it takes us between 2.5-3 hrs depending on the time we leave and the traffic on the turnpike.

I know my D has been checking out facebook for accepted students for this fall but I don't know to much about it also, she does have a facebook. I will ask her later today.

Where are you coming from?

New York, it took me 4 and half hrs. to get there this summer
