Visiting BMC

Hello!

I’m a prospective student in my Junior year. Since my trip to Massachussetts last spring, I’ve opened myself up to the possibility of attending an all-female school. Bryn Mawr did not escape my abounding college searches- which is why I’m here.

I’m a native Californian. Yesterday my family and I re-enacted the epic Dust Bowl commute (minus the jalopy, plus an airplane, and done in reverse) and we are now resting up. Tomorrow we will be visiting Bryn Mawr. Is there anything I should be aware of before I begin? I will be interviewing. What would entail proper dress, and preparation? Should I bring a resume?

Also! How can I gain a better grasp of the school while I’m there? My greatest fear today is not seeing something, or knowing something essential to my college choice.

If there are any Spanish majors, pre-med students, or fencers, I’d really appreciate information about these respective areas.

Thank you,
Elana Nashelsky

GreenHill, my wife and daughter visited BMC in January on the worst possible weekend (remember when the snow shut down the northeast?) and she still is ranking it high. Even Mom who was not high on the idea of an all womens' college loved it. You should love it since you are going in spring. I don't know much about the departments you mention, but I'm confident they have it covered. (maybe not so confident about the fencing. I would get specific info.)
PS On CC we tend not to use our real names. Stick with GreenHill, although we all tend to blow it sometimes. I accidently found the mother of one of my daughter's classmates on CC.
