Visiting Harvard this Spring Break

I want to get the most out of my trip to Harvard and be as prepared as possible, because I most likely will not be able to visit again.

Are there certain things that I should make a priority to see/experience? Certain questions I should ask during the tour or during my session with the Admission Counselor? Specific classes that I should sit-in on?
Good places to eat :P

Anything would be appreciated.

eat at pinocchio's pizza and subs. and bartley's. heavenly foods cooked with not so heavenly amounts of grease.

if you're into chinese food, there are two places (the hong kong and yenching) that are both sorta on mass ave. yenching is cheaper at lunch, but the kong is open late. both are pretty great when you're hungry and sick of dhall food.

if you're into continental style brunch, go to "upstairs on the square", it's pretty sweet. pricey, but i'm assuming you're visiting with your parents? hopefully you wont have to foot the bill haha.

i feel like i'm missing a bunch of places. and i probably am. forgive me, i'm about to run off late to a class haha. oh which reminds me, if you're into psychology at all, sit in on a daniel gilbert lecture for psych 1 or any of the other classes he teaches. he's an incredible speaker, very engaging.

whoops okay i'm seriously going to be late. if you dont get many other replies (although i'm sure you will), feel free to pm me. i'm not on here much (this is my first time since i got into college actually haha), but one of my closest friends is coming to college next year and so i'm back on the board doing research for her.

good luck with your planning!

OMG FELIPE'S i knew i missed it. that place is so good i feel like i can be a little later than i already am to put in a plug for it. tasty tasty mexican food.

Thanks so much. I appreciate you risking tardiness for your reply.

I've actually been to Bartley's when I visited Boston with my AP US History class. I had the Viagra burger : P it's an amazing place.

I am interested in psychology. I'm interested in majoring in political science, so any poli sci. classes would be appreciated.

Thanks again

felipes is RIDICULOUSLY good... also yenching is amazing and the kong is gross please don't go there. As for classes, sit in on whatever you are interested in. I am studying chemistry so I don't know what classes would be appropriate for you, but I imagine many of these classes would be smaller classes you might want to ask the Head TF or professor if you can sit in on. Ec 10 maybe? That is a big intro class..

Don't go to Ec 10, really boring, sometimes.
Go to positive pych lecture, you'd like that.
If you can sit on Human Rights by prof Bass and Latin american politics by levitsky, they're incredible!
