Visiting Rice

So after realizing that Rice's spring break is actually different from my school district's, I figured it would be a good time to visit! I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions of what I need to check out while I'm there. I have roughly 24 hours there - doing an overnight.

Also... anyone else happen to be visiting March 17/18?

I will probably be going down there on my Spring Break around the same time.

wow I heard the campus was kind of dead, but I guess this lack of response is some validation?

I imagine that the lack of response is because Rice is on Spring Break now.

Spring break already?! That's soooo early.

We started rather early this year; we're actually done with finals at the end of April.

well. I was just thinking that a slightly inflammatory statement would elicit more responses than a "buummmmppp". hah guess it didn't work.

Perhaps Rice students aren't responding because we have lives outside of college confidential ^^. I thought I would drop by this site to see how the prosbies are doing =]

Come to rice during break if you want. You'll have an opportunity to visit during Owl days.

Be sure to visit Rice Village, lots of shops and restaurants and within reasonable walking distance to Rice. Also you won't be far from the museum district, the natural science museum has a Genghis Khan exhibit now. This weekend is the azalea trail in Houston.
