visiting the school for interview

So I'm going to Cornell during November 16-18 and was wondering about how I get to the school from the airport, and where I stay while I'm there etc. (I'm coming from the state of WA) Do I have to find my own ride to Cornell and get a hotel? or stay at a dorm? And how should I dress for the hotel school interview and what kind of questions should I expect? I am so scared I don't even know what to expect.

be yourself. and hopefully being yourself matches with what successful hotel management people are.

what do hotel management ppl have? confidence and class. can you pretend to have it for the interview? yeah. is it advisable? no. be yourself because thats what you'll be doing after you get into hotel school.

I just did my interview at the Hotel School last week. I had an italian guy that teaches the wine tasting classes. We just talked about my high school experience, why I'm interested in hospitality, where I see myself in the short and long term, and then he just asked some random questions to try and throw me off. I stayed at the Best Western since everything else was booked and they had a free shuttle that drops you off right in front of the school.

Is that the cheapest Htl we can find?
I find there is a hotel inside the campus, but it is too expensive...

yeah the statler is VERY nice. search for area hotels on www.visitithaca.com, or use google local http://local.google.com/ and search "hotels cornell" or "hotels ithaca"

Does anyone get offer from Hotel admissions for Spring 2006 ED?
