Visiting UW.

Hey. I was actually accepted a while back, but my first visit of the university will be during spring break (gonna be there from around March 29-April 2 or so) and I was wondering if the cherry blossoms are in bloom yet? Also, anyone that's attending/has visited what is a must visit at UW?

Thanks! :)

Here are few things you can do around/near the campus (not in any particular order):

[ul]
[] Take a bite at [Aqua Verde Cafe](<a href=“Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!”>Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!): good relatively inexpensive food and nice views. This is near southwest corner of campus.
[] Go for a walk near [Montlake Cut](<a href=“Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!”>Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!). Take canoe ride if the weather permits and you have time. [Arboretum is also a nice place for a walk or jog.
[] Want to checkout shopping scene? University Village](<a href=“Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!”>Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!) is not too far from north dorms.
[] Enjoy walking around the [quad area. Suzallo Library is nearby.

cherry trees started blooming a couple weeks ago. don’t know how long they’ll last.

ah! thats depressing. since they only last a few weeks or so they’ll probably be gone by the time i get there. i was hoping to see them when i visited too! poo

Are you going to UW next year?! and the U-Village is nice!! I always go there when I go to the U-District.

@LoveUW Oh I’m not sure yet! I’m picking between 6 schools and UW is one of my top choice. I’m not sure though since I’m OOS and UW is still pretty expensive for me :/. I do want to go there since I’m studying Chinese/Business and both programs are strong at UW, but sadly I think my decision will be weighed by cost issues haha.
