Visiting WPI

From what I have seen from the website, WPI seems really nice and I am really interested in it. Does anyone have any advise on when I should visit or any info on the school? Pretty much anything on WPI :-)

I have heard that the campus is nice and that the kids are very friendly. Kids that have looked felt comfortable there. I would probably visit during your spring break. If you go during the week you could probably schedule a classroom visit.

I have heard that they have an excellent robotics lab and program.

I'm interested in the biomedical engineering program. Does anyone have any info?

Two years ago we attended an open house program held on MLK's birthday. Very well done program, with talks with profs and students from individual depts, tours, various presentations, etc.

Drew a very large crowd, yet was very well-run.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'd actually suggest visiting soon while they're still in winter months, so you can see how the campus is at it's dreariest (spring is nice at pretty much all campuses).

Does anyone have any info on the new residence halls? Ive been trying to get more info about the dorms and stuff but havent been able to find much.

I take classes there, as part of their affiliated high school program, Mass Academy of Math and Sciences.

To be honest, it's a nerd school.
PM me if you have any questions.
