<p>I recently got accepted into VT (hooray :D) which was my top school. I really want to go there, but my parents don't want to be spending too much on me. So I have to find way to get money for college. I filled out VT's financial aid thing before the deadline, and haven't heard back about anything. I did the FAFSA as well, but haven't heard from them either. Is it too early to be receiving financial aid packages, or are other people getting them right now?</p>
<p>If you read the thread ‘Just got accepted’ - some people are receiving Financial Aid Packets online (located on your Application Status page). My son received a Financial Aid offer and hasn’t even been accepted yet. I would imagine you will hear something soon. Check your Application page online.</p>
<p>Yes, definitely check VT online. I think if you filled out your fafsa already you may have some info out there…</p>
