'W' grade on pre req course

<p>I am considering dropping a nursing pre-req course that I do not have time for this quarter and retaking it next quarter. A 'W' means that the student has withdrawn from the course. If I do well next time around, how till this effect my chances of getting into nursing school?</p>

<p>If I see this class all the way through I will probably end up with a ‘C’…how would this look on my transcript? Note that this is a pre-requisite class (Statistics). Is it better to drop and get a ‘W’ and try again next quarter?</p>
