Hey Guys! I just got an email a little while ago, which was a likely letter from Washington & Lee. They invited meet their Spring Diversity and Inclusion Visit Experience and Admitted students day, all expenses paid. Has anyone else received a likely letter from W&L?
Here are my stats, in case you were wondering:
GPA: 3.91 UW 4.5 W
ACT: 33C 34 Superscore
Awards: AP Scholar w/ Honor, a few regional and school awards, literally nothing major
Rank: 26/471
AP: 9 total, I have taken 3 AP Tests thus far-- AP Bio (5) AP Lang (4) AP World (4)
Extracurriculars: President & Founder of Mental Health club at my school (my only school related EC-- no internships, shadowing experiences, university research, or anything lol) Some Volunteer work, I also work as. lifeguard and a swim lesson instructor nearly 4-5 days a week.
It’s worth noting, I think, that I didn’t do any of the writing supplements-- I kinda regret it, but I was feeling a little lazy :))
My recommendations were pretty good, I think. I didn’t interview.
It’s also worth nothing that I have been provisionally accepted into the University of Chicago, and they are also paying for me to fly out to see them for Destination UChicago. I think I’ll be attending both programs!
