Hello! So I was recently invited to apply for the all-expense paid overnight visitation program and got accepted, meaning that the school will pay for me to stay there for the weekend and fly me out to the school. I am very interested in W&L and am very excited to get to visit Lexington and tour the school. Has anyone done this before or plans on doing it this fall? Is this an indication that the school is interested in me (I am a URM with a few other hooks and national awards)? Also, the program will allow me to have an interview on campus. This will be my first college interview, so what should I expect and how should I dress for the occasion? Thank you!

Are you male or female?

Female!

For the interview, make sure you have a few questions about the school. As for attire, I would go with a casual skirt or dress with some flats.

I believe this is a strong sign the school is interested in you. Congratulations! I would show that you know something about the college like their spring term, for example, so you can ask a specific question about it. Some juniors will be required to live on campus – again this is not really a big deal, but would show you have done some research. You could comment on this or ask a question about it.
