ideas about whether id get admitted or rejected? im really nervous =/

I guess we are in similar boats. Your sat’s are ALOT better than mine and I guess my avg is a little better than yours. So hey, you better off then I am.

Remember that W&M practices holistic review so we consider everything from your objective criteria (course selection, grades, standardized testing) to your personal qualities (your extracurricular activities, your life experiences, etc). Certainly pursuing an IB diploma is something we look upon kindly but we also like to see students performing well in that curriculum so we’d encourage you to finish your junior and senior year strong.

Also, be sure to tell us about some of your unique experiences living abroad. Those kinds of intangible qualities and distinct attributes are what can help any applicant stand out in the applicant pool.

W&M admission - does W&M even look at AP scores? what if an applicant does not choose to submit them with yout application?

duskmantle: Have you already applied for fall of 2010?

duskmantle: If you haven’t applied, (I was confused by the W&M admission response) I would really emphasis your music, what it means to you and how it is a part of who you are as a person.
