W Transfer question..

<p>I hope this is the right place for this.. If not, sorry!</p>

<p>Anyways, I have a question regarding a W. Right now I'm already admitted & paid for the spring 13 semester at Northern Arizona University. Currently at my CC I just realized I signed up for the wrong course. Normally I would just finish it so I don't have to drop it but this one is a 3rd year Econ course. I'm totally lost and I think I should just drop it with a W before failing..</p>

<p>So my concern is, if I drop it and receive the W. (I believe my total W count will be 3) when I go to send my final transcripts in December to NAU, could they decide that's two many and decide to reject me after already accepting me?</p>

<p>Call them and ask. They won’t reject you for asking.</p>

<p>Also, as a former resident of Flagstaff, I don’t think NAU is very selective. I’d be very surprised if they reject you over 3 withdrawals.</p>
