<p>Hi my d was just admitted off the wait list and is looking for a roommate.
Would be great to find another wait lister like her...</p>

<p>If you are one or know one let me know.</p>

<p>She's on facebook and stuff already and also completed the roommate finder thing, just she would prefer not to do the pot luck thing since it's so late in the process . thought i would post something here in case anyone has ideas for her. the whole process has been VERY rushed given that only a week ago she was headed elsewhere and already had a great roomate there.</p>

<p>High school varsity athlete, fun, OOS and pretty much a normal fun girl who wants to study hard and also have fun. </p>

<p>Also i think if she'd prefer to not go pot luck, she can't really sign up for housing yet correct?</p>

<p>or should she pick her preferences even though she doesn't have a roomie yet.</p>

<p>Your D should explore room-mate finder and FB for people who are still looking for roommates. Most or all of admitted students already have rooms allocated however some may have opening in their room or suite and can suggest.</p>

<p>I am not sure how the process will work because UNC matches requested room partner only when both of them put each others name.</p>
