Wait List =/

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I was recently told I'm on the wait list and I will be hearing my decision AFTER May 1st.
I REALLY want to go to SBU but If I wait that long then I won't be able to attend a second-option school. Also, even if I do get in would I get a last-minute dorm sharing with 2 other roomates? I don't know what to do. </p>

<p>Any insight, suggestions?</p>

<p>you can always put a deposit down on your second option school as you wait for your waitlist desicion. that way you can secure a place at that school.
regarding the roommate thing, i’m not sure but there’s always the option to change dorming situation after a semester or year</p>
