<p>I was accepted at Chapman, and put on the waiting list for my LMU, but I want to go LMU. I need to inform Chapman by May 1st of my intent to enroll and give them $800 for my enrollment and housing down payment.</p>

<p>But, if I find out in May that I do get accepted to Loyola, then how do I go about cancelling my commitment to Chapman? And will they give back my $800? Do most universities refund students who cancel their enrollment?</p>
