Waitlist 2014

I got off last weekend!! But I’m not goingggg, its too late.

too late?? Do you mean, they accepted you too late and you are not interested?

I called BC yesterday and guy said it’s extremely close to be done… he didn’t want to say it’s finished because something could happen… but he emphasized extremely… so… I think it’s time for us to let it go.

If they would officially end it, that would be nice.

My child received a letter today admitting her to CSOM class of 2014. Unlike other posts, there was no phone call and no email. The letter was dated last Friday. I guess the lesson is to check your Agora accounts. Best of luck to all. No matter what happens, you will be very happy at the college you attend.

To collegein:
Is your daughter going to accept and go to BC? If yes, can you post her stats so that I can compare my chances too? Thank you.

where do you find the stats?-my daughter is waitlisted also

lolgirl2345 - my daughter’s stats are 93 average (unweighted); 2200 combined SAT’s; sports team captain; member of her school’s concert band.

However, my daughter had some important and unique accomplishments during May that we feel put her over the top.

My daughter has accepted BC.

Hope this helps. All the best to you. Remember, no matter where you go, you will do well and it will be a great experience.

Maybebc: Yea, Boston was my first choice for the longest time, and even after my deferral from the EA round, I was optimistic. Lol but after I found out I was wait listed, I started to lose interest in BC, especially after my decision to go to Emory.

Kinda wished this happened earlier, but I decided that I don’t wanna go to a school who didn’t want me from the get go.

Just got a text from my dad that I received a thin envelope from BC in the mail today. Could bE the end of the road or another waitlist… sorta hoping for end of the road so I can move on.

Yep, its done, freshman class is filled.

That’s weird that I didn’t receive one yet as I live closer to BC than you.

FP9, can you still log into your Agora portal?

I can confirm it is over for BC as well. My daughter also received her letter indicating that the freshman class is filled. Hold your heads up, out of the 30,000 applicants there was just not enough space. I wish all of you the best. There are still some waiting on other waitlists, not only was my daughter on BC’s list, but also Notre Dame’s as well. But fin all likelihood, it looks like she will be attending Villanova. Where are the rest of you going?

Hi guys,
I am an international student and I received an email 2 days ago saying i was accepted! I have till June 11 to pay the 500 USD deposit fee. The problem is that I’ve already paid the deposit at Boston University and now I’m quite lost. I don’t know which one to attend for pre med studies!

You can contact BU and tell them you will not be going. Then you can submit your deposit at BC. Either is fine for pre-med, just get a high GPA and do well on MCATS.

Congratulations~

Alternatively, you can submit the deposit to BC and once it is confirmed, send an e-mail to BU admissions letting them know that you were taken off a WL somewhere else and have chosen to attend that school instead. But, you will lose your deposit at BU, since it is non-refundable.

Do a quick search on cc to find threads that compare the schools. Good luck & Congrats.

I got my letter yesterday too, oh well. I’ll be attending Villanova and I’m psyched for college!! Good luck to everyone, wherever you may end up.

Ill be attending BU, looking forward to kicking BC’s ass in hockey in a few years haha.

Attending Auburn University Honors College. My dads is happy because he was convinced after attending BC I would come back a Marxist Lenist. At least I can still make Dove Season. Go War Eagles

So has everyone received a rejection letter?
