Waitlist Chances

<p>I'm waitlisted at position 39. Class size is about 600. What are my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>and also how does the waitlist for discussion come into the whole thing? If i get into a section does that mean i automatically get into the class regardless of the waitlist?</p>

<p>btw.. the class is econ 1.</p>

<p>i would assume if you get into a section, you should be fine for lecture. but again, econ 1 is impacted so I’m not entirely sure…</p>

<p>but by the 10% rule , you should be fine for getting in. with budget cuts now though, they should change it to 8% (or slightly) lower</p>
