congratulations to all. you guys deserve it.

would now be too late to expect a call?

leetxy: they have finished all the calls for now. The only way you would now get called is if someone rejects their waitlist admission.

i just got a call about 15 minutes ago! i'm in!!!

did anyone get their official acceptance letters today?? I didn't, and I'm hoping I can get it tomorrow so I can go ahead and send in the money for housing, enrollment, orientation etc..

My son got a call today as well...

heritageballer i got my letter on saturday and i have mailed in my deposit today. I got it quickly since i live like 40 minutes away from campus.

I got my acceptance letter/package today.

I got a call around 5' o clock...

are you in state hotasice?

No, I'm out of state from MD. UNC called me last Thursday, and I got the letter today from them.

If they called you, I'm absolutely sure there's going to be an acceptance letter to follow. Don't worry, just wait for it; it will come.

congrats to all!! i got in after being deferred and the feeling was CRAZY!

once again, congratulations! and wear the baby blue with pride, YOU are a TAR HEEL!!

my call was a message and the guy didn't say much except to call him back? does that mean I am in???

UNC please---that is what happened to my daughter and she was offered admission the next morning. I think you are in.

i got a call telling me i was in yesterday, but i haven't received my packet yet. for those of you who have, are there any days for people accepted off the waitlist to go visit? my dad and i already booked a flight for monday to take one last look at the campus and make sure this is what i want, but i wanted to make sure i won't be missing out on anything. also, does anyone know how far behind we are and if we will still be able to get good housing and good options like kids who were accepted earlier?

you were right jimmyduck, I got in!!!
I was wondering since CTOPS is mostly booked up for the earlier sessions will this affect the availability of courses i.e. will people already admitted have first choice of classes?

i believe someone in an earlier thread or a previous student said that each session has a number of spots for a class, so that each session; people have an equal chance of getting a class. so im pretty sure it doesnt matter, cuz they have only a certain amount that they will take from each session, to make it fair for those who go later.

congrats uncplease----I know you wanted it. We visited UNC on Sunday during graduation and D is so excited about going there----

hey any more updates on unc? I am a waitlisted applicant also, and was wondering when the next round of admission will come. I hope UVa will take waitlisted spots this year! Its my dream school! I applied to UNC bc I thought it would be similar to UVa but OOS.

So are more people being accepted off the wait-list? I thought I saw something (on the UNC website) saying everything will be settled no late than June 30?
