What do you do if you're on a "manual" waitlist for a class?

It says so if you click the link underneat the class on the schedule of classes.

ohh hehe kay thanks

it says:

"This section is full, and 5 student(s) are on the waiting list, with a limit of 40.

This Waiting List will be processed manually by the department."

Does that mean I just wait and keep on checking if I get in?

The manual wait list means that, if you're on it, even if someone drops out of the course before the session starts, you don't automatically get it. The professor or GSI will be the one to go through the waitlist and add you on. You can check, but they usually do it during the first week of class (because a lot of people drop out during that time anyway). If that happens, just talk to your professor or GSI after the first class and they'll usually get you in the class.

ohh okay thanks for clearing that up for me!
