Waitlist Mistake

I was a waitlist admit to UC Irvine. However, I received an offer of admission from UCSD as well from the waitlist and got my intended major, so I am going there now. I turned my SIR on time to UCSD. However, I forgot to decline the offer of admission in my UCI portal, and it was due last night (5/10).

Now it says “Our offer of provisional admission has expired.”

I was just wondering if there are any consequences to not declining UCI. What should I do? @Gumbymom

No consequences. Unless you really wanted to attend UCI, which in that case you are now SOL.

There are no consequences by letting your UCI offer expire. It is always good practice to officially decline the offer but you have made your decision.
