<p>I do not know the answer to 2, but I assume they would have to offer you financial aid. It would be unfair not to.</p>
<p>Many schools have funky rules regarding financial aid if you get in off the waitlist.</p>
<p>You would be offered FA and you would not expect to reply until you have seen your FA package. If the school has run out of FA money, they would most likely only offer spots to kids that do not require FA.</p>
