Waitlist Success Stories

<p>i was waitlisted at middlesex, hotchkiss, and deerfield..never got off..i ended up going to brooks..i'm graduating this year :)</p>

Oh, if only you could send back your own reply card when responding to whether or not you want to stay on their waitlist!

<p>Is there any reason why you (specifically or generically speaking, you choose) cannot call the school and ask them? Not in so many words, of course, but I believe it is possible to get a handle on what they're looking for...or, at the very least, narrow it down.</p>

<p>Our son recently received a letter saying that he had clearly earned a spot in the freshman class, but was "priority waitlisted" purely for financial reasons. We had applied for FA, and they did not have it for him. We have since dropped our request for FA in hopes that he will now be accepted off of this waitlist. Anyone's thoughts on that?
