Waitlist UCF 2020

@anne9876 Sadly, I do not think that you will be able to get a dorm for fall if you are going there for spring term. However, you could rent off campus apartments nearby! There are a lot of apartments that are designed for students, but aren’t strictly for UCF students only that you could get.

Several people have asked if you could get Summer 2020 if you applied for Fall 2020.

The answer is YES. That’s what our daughter got months ago.

And – understand what Summer admission really means. It means you simply have to take **ONE online course during Summer B. **

It’s basically Fall admission with the added benefit of something to do during the summer, since our vacation is canceled!

Yeah I would really like to get summer honestly. I actually didn’t even apply for fall to begin with because I didn’t think I would get it and I don’t mind starting classes early.

I emailed ucf asking for an expedited admission and I hope to hear back monday, but if I dont, then I will commit to FIU that day. I really like both schools and though FIU is a bit of a stretch for me because it’s far and I like how close UCF is, it’s not worth the stress anymore and I really should “love the school that loves me back”. Thanks @jeneric that’s some good advice!

Hey so I’ve been on this page for awhile and good luck to everyone!! I am currently also on the waitlist and very anxious about my decision. I am going to send an expedition and I was wondering if I should do it through phone call or email.

I’m so scared a

When I called them asking for info on that they said either requesting it through call or email is fine, so it really is whatever you prefer. What’s good about the call is that you can get it done right then and there, as opposed to waiting for them to see the email and then respond to it. I’m still not totally sure which one I will do, but I know I’m going to ask for an expedited decision on Monday.

good luck! they respond to my emails in a timely manner so either way would be fine; however, it is most likely quicker to call them instead.

So today I officially requested for an expedited decision. I did it through call and they said I should have my decision in 2-3 days.

I’ve been following this thread for a while but never said anything lol. I’ve been waitlisted since February and I’m so anxious. I really hope we all get in ?

good luck, i hope you hear good news!

aw, same here! been waitlisted since february and super anxious as well but good luck with the waiting!

Good luck!! Cross fingers u get in

Hey guys, I’ve been reading these threads and it was comforting having all of us together supporting one another through this stressful period of waiting for UCF to respond back. I got off the waitlist today and was offer summer admission this morning. I really hope all of you get accepted and all of you guys stay well during pandemic. Have an amazing day everyone and good luck to everyone

CONGRATULATIONS viettbb!

Just in case you missed it, summer admission just means you have to take ONE online course during Summer B, and then you are in for the fall.

congratulations!! if you don’t mind me asking what we’re your stats? we’re all so happy for you. go knights!!

hey! just curious but did you ask for an expedited decision or did you just wait? also, hearing your acceptance gives me hope and reassurance so thank you for updating us! summer admission is only taking one online class so i am sure you will do well! congratulations and i wish you well from now on! <3

Congratulations!!

Thank you so much it really does mean a lot, and no of course not I don’t mind sharing! For me my stats were:
SAT: 1080 (yeah I didn’t do so well on it…? )
Weighted GPA: 5.2
Unweighted: 3.7

Hey Christeneb! Thank you so much for your kind words, it really does mean a lot?, but to answer your question, yes I did ask for and expedited decision and honestly I highly suggest it (especially if you need to hear a decision before May 1st)! I would call them and ask to be put onto it as they’ll put it on right then and there on call as of waiting for an email. They got back to me and my friends pretty soon (I would say about 2-3 days). But also remember that there is a risk when asking for one as they do kind of rush through your application. I would go for it though love as so many of us have been waiting so long you and everyone deserves to hear a decision. I wish you the best with your application and hopefully see you at UCF, dont lose hope and just stay patient. Good luck with everything!

Did friends get in?
