Just wondering If anyone knows when wait list applicants will be notified if they receive a spot?! Please let me know if and when anyone hears anything! Thanks!

These schools have gone to the wait list. It would be great if more did that. UVA said they did not want wait listed students to lose their deposits, so they were trying to get the offer in their hands before tomorrow’s deadline. That is a considerate approach. I know not all schools can pinpoint their yield before May 1, but the ones who do are going to find that students on multiple wait lists take the bird in hand… I would be happy to go to either one of the two schools where I was wait listed. The first one to contact me will get my full pay contract.

On the admissions blog Tom said May, and LATEST by mid june I think.

Also, good luck:)

Thanks for the feedback! I just wish they would hurry up!!!

Please post on this thread if you hear back!!! I am so unbelievably anxious for a final decision!

I am aware of one student who was offered admission off the wait list this week…is anyone else aware of any movement on the wait list?

Any news on the wait list? D1 has two friends who are still hoping, even this late.

I called couples of times and AO said that this years they had received enough deposit and only limited spots will be offered for the wait listed students. I was like so heart-broken.

Didn’t want to mention it until it was public, but yeah, I wouldn’t count on many waitlist spots being open this year.
