<p>Mikly12eR, I am a US student.</p>
<p>@antsypants - If you need something to hope for, many people get placed in DGS instead of their majors, especially for Engineering and Business applicants. So they end up declining their offer. And also… Lack of adequate financial aid convinced many people to reject their offers this year as well. So keep praying. :]</p>
<p>I think my friend who was wait listed last year was accepted to DGS. He had a 2.7 GPA and 28 ACT. So they do give people with lower stats a chance. Ironically he rejected U of I and went to NIU instead. (Not enough financial aid).</p>
<p>@Soso,
I just want to hear ASAP Have you heard anything else?</p>
<p>Soso’s admission director is so kind Q ^Q
They told me …the third week of May, June 1st, Early June…
And nothing about an exact number…
feel like there is hardly any possibility for me…</p>
<p>@toishiki </p>
<p>I think so but we can do nothing except wait patiently :(</p>
<p>@Mikly12eR
5 days left T T patience was eaten up!!!</p>
<p>@toishiki
me too, I’m going to book my housing and meal plan in another school
I dont understand why they release the result so late!!!</p>
<p>I’m on the wait list too…</p>
<p>I’ve been checking my email everyday for the past month and I haven’t received anything yet… :(</p>
<p>This is getting really annoying</p>
<p>@Mikly12eR
I booked in another school a month ago T T and the AD will come to contact me in the June… Things seem to be finished. But I don’t book a visa interview, a plane ticket, injection…
I will be late for school I guess…
Tossing and Turning every day…</p>
<p>But today I received a letter from <a href=“mailto:admission@illinois.edu”>admission@illinois.edu</a>
It gives a link to a survey about campus visit.
And the only two choices are freshman and transfer…
I cannot answer these questions…
And any other admitted who I know haven’t received this letter
What does this mail mean?
Or they just send randomly?</p>
