I have hard time waiting.....

I was on a waitlist (not for wake, but I go to wake) last year so I totally understand how you are feeling. ENJOY your last weeks of high school while you can ... don't fret about the waitlist :).

If you have demonstrated your desire to get off the list (ex. updated resume and wrote the school) you have done what you can. Waiting is miserable enough if you think about it. Whatever happens you'll be 'o.k'

fluffy, when did you hear back after being put on the waitlist?

still no response for me yet from Wake. I got off the waitlist at Penn State on friday may 4th so hopefully wake will let us know soon. Im betting they make their first picks off the list by the end of this week.

well I was on a waitlist for a different university (I applied to Wake RD and was accepted). I heard from the other universities WL mid-may and then was placed on another reduced number WL and stayed there till the begining of August. It was very stressful and I wished I hadn't gone through that stress because now I go to Wake and I love it and would never imagine transfering to that other Uni.

basically whatever happens you'll be o.k. Make the most of your experiences and be nice to people and you'll be happy.

I'm also wait listed and at my interview I was told that sometimes WFU doesn't even use a wait list. They are meeting sometime this week to determine whether or not to use it.

has anyone heard yet? Im surprised Wake is waiting this long to take people off the list... thats if they are taking people at all.

tuesday is the fist deadline day on their waitlist card. so people should hear next week if they checked that day off. i am sure they are taking people off their list.
